FEMA chief demoted

"Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job"

That's why, when Pelosi quoted Bush as saying "What went wrong?" I believed her.

It's good that "Brownie" is gone, but it's sad in a way. Brown was the only one of these losers who came out and admitted, in a very clear and honest way, that he made a mistake. So, I figure that Brown got let go not for being unqualified, but because he admitted a mistake openly and honestly. That is something we have never seen from the Bush administration. Shit, Bush gave "Slam Dunk Tenet" a freaking medal. 'Nuff said.

Do you think the next guy will have any experience with Emergency Management? One would hope.

OK, Brown is gone. How about the guy who hired him?

Say you worked for me managing my factory. You hire three pals to work as supervisors who completely lack experience. Because of that, they thought storing potassium in water was a good idea. The factory blew up and the workers were killed. You may fire those three guys to cover your ass, but I would fire you. I would fire you for putting your personal interests ahead of the right thing.

NOTE: The key for the above analogy is shown below as a convenience for those Conservatives who lack the brainpower to figure it out for themselves

Me = Citizens of the United States
You = President
Factory = United States
Braindead supervisors = FEMA top dogs
