Bush resists probe into Katrina response

It should come as no surprise that Bush is resisting a bipartisan probe into Administration failures responsible for delayed respone to Katrina. There is plenty of failure to go around, and the swift-boating has already begun.

What would serve the best interests of the United States would be finding out what went wrong, then working to fix the problems. Resisting an investigation will accomplish only one thing, sheltering those who should be held accountable for the massive federal failure.

Disappoining but not unexpected. We have seen this before. After the "discovery" that there were no WMD's, and no links to bin Laden, the Bush spin machine did the same thing then that it is doing now. Insisting that "Now is not the right time to investigate, we should focus on the task at hand". That's what Bush said then. The Republican Congress gave their Republican president a free pass. And that's what Bush is saying now. Will the GOP walk the party line and give Bush another free pass on Katrina? One would hope not, not after their Red States have been decimated. It's one thing when it happens halfway around the world, it's another thing when it happens on your doorstep.

There is plenty that says that Bush will not escape so easily this time, despite his reluctance to being investigated. It's one thing when it happens in Iraq. It's an entirely different thing when it happens here. It shouldn't be that way, but it is. Iraq is so far away, kind of abstract. The Gulf Coast is a different story. Americans dying in lawn chairs in front of reporters? Four days after the storm hit?

The day after Katrina hit, all I could do was get all the info I can and cry for the victims. While America was crying, Bush was playing golf.

"Stay the Course"?, what, the "golf course"?

We must not let them use the same tactic they used to dodge accountability for their Iraq failure. Bush will do everything possible to dodge these bullets. Please, please keep pressure on your representitives and the media insisting on independant investigations into the Federal Katrina response failures.

Ah, what a surprise. Bush is resisting another probe into his incompetant administration. Even if there is a probe, all the facts that show just how inept these guys are and how much they lie, will just roll off of them, yet again.

Fucking Aye, let's have Al Capone investigate organized crime in Chicago.

Bush on TV- "We're problm solvers. (smirk) We solve problems (smirk, condescending look at the camera) Now is not the time to play the Blame Game"

God, how I hate this fucking man. His mom is a piece of work too..

Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Bush says "We solve problems."

What? WHAT???

OMFG, this proves ONCE AGAIN just how clueless and blind to his own ineptitude Bush really is.

Jesus, he really believes he never makes a mistake.

He doesn't SOLVE problems, he CREATES them.
