"Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job.."

Here's one from the "Holy Fucking Shit" department. Brownie has been hired by FEMA as a consultant. Yep, Brownie is being paid by us to help us investigate where he fucked up. Only don't ask Brownie where he fucked up, if you ask, you'll get this-

"My biggest mistake was not recognizing by Saturday that Louisiana was dysfunctional", which, by the way, was a lie

And the Swift Boating didn't stop there, Brownie was just getting started-

"I very strongly personally regret that I was unable to persuade Gov. Blanco and Mayor Nagin to sit down, get over their differences, and work together. I just couldn't pull that off."

On his personal performance, Brownie had this to say-

"I know what I'm doing, and I think I do a pretty darn good job of it,"

In fairness to the GOP, I expected with the partisan invistigation taking place, we would once again watch Congress bail out the chimp by tossing a few softballs to Brownie. Nothing too challenging or condemning. Instead, I was treated to this-

"I'm happy you left," said Rep. Christopher Shays (news, bio, voting record), R-Conn. "That kind of look in the lights like a deer tells me you weren't capable of doing that job."

If past performance is any indication, don't be surprised when the partisan congressional investigation ends up giving the chimp the usual slap on the wrist. We all know what happens when republicans investigate themseves, but it was still satisfying watching one of Brownies GOP cronies rip him a new asshole.

Brownie blamed Nagin and Blanco, Brownie blamed himself for not sharing enough of the FEMA success with the media. Brownie said things went very well in Mississippi and Alabama. Funny, I don't remember FEMA being anywhere near Biloxi for at least a week after Katrina hit.

And we all remember Brownie apologizing for not knowing for several days that thousands of people were slowly dying of dehydration at the Convention Center, don't we?. It turns out that Brownie did know that people were in trouble at the Convention Center, only he forgot that he remembered. Brown said he was "just tired and misspoke" when a television interviewer appeared to be the first to tell him there were desperate residents at the New Orleans Convention Center.

Typical Bush fuck-up. A clueless fuck-up who admits no wrongdoing. Jeezzzzzus, the fucking guy leaves his job discraced, and gets rewarded by being put on as a consultant. A consultant being paid $143,000.00.

The Bush Doctrine,

Fuck up and move up.

Brownie is a fucking jerkoff. A pitiful, spineless, gutless puke. Beneath contempt. Just like his fucking boss.

Interesting strategy--hang the fall guy even though that particular fall guy will take a few bricks from the wall with him. I hope they're good bricks. Meanwhile, if one could judge by 2 minutes of audio on NPR, I'd say they're doing a pretty good job of holding him accountable. Who gives a shit if he won't admit it--after all, knowing his kind he probably has a wife, mistress and teenage mister to impress back home anyway.
